Job Description


To lead the Marketing & Communications related duties and responsibilities for Anantara Hotels & Resorts in Abu Dhabi, reporting directly to the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing. Responsible for achieving the Brand and Hotel positioning objectives locally and internationally through promotional activities. Development of the marketing and advertising plans, in accordance to the approved budget. Responsible for the coordination and management of the creative, brand and media buying agencies for all the assigned hotels & resorts. This includes the production of the property’s collateral, sales material and all online and offline promotional material. Responsible for planning, directing, controlling, co-ordination, participating and evaluating in all promotion’s activities for food & beverage and other operational departments. To protect and manage the correct image and positioning of the individual resorts and brand by meeting corporate standards. To increase targeted market communication both domestic and international through effective and frequent use of database, development of joint partnership agreements and maximizing the Anantara and individual resorts programs. To drive and implement effective social media and online activities.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years' progressive experience in marketing, branding or communications
  • Significant experience in the hospitality industry or managing multi-property / multi-brand portfolios.
  • Proven leadership of marketing teams and agencies.
  • Good communication and social skills
  • Flexible and co-operative
  • Creative, innovative and strategically minded.
  • Excellent Computer skills (MS Office)
