Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North comprises a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark. The resort boasts panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country’s biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North’s Meryal Waterpark attraction. The Rig 1938 is the world’s highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.
Job Description
Cluster Director of Sales
This position reports directly to the Managing Director and is part of the senior leadership team. This position will be responsible for defining and implementing an integrated sales strategy that maximizes revenue, drives market share, and positions the entire cluster assets as a premier destination within the region and beyond.

Develop and lead a unified sales strategy across all business verticals: luxury accommodations, MICE, corporate and leisure travel, waterpark groups and ticketing, and beach club memberships and events.

Oversee a multidisciplinary sales team, ensuring alignment, performance, and collaboration across assets.

Foster strong commercial partnerships with key stakeholders, including corporate clients, travel agents, tour operators, DMCs, event organizers, and government entities.

Collaborate closely with marketing, revenue, and operations to drive cohesive commercial planning and execution.

Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities, adjusting strategies proactively to maintain a competitive edge.

Represent the destination at major international trade shows, roadshows, and industry events, serving as an ambassador for the Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North brand.

Deliver on revenue targets, forecast accuracy, and ROI-driven decision-making across the cluster.
Qualifications

Proven experience of 5–7 years in a similar role within luxury hospitality, ideally in a cluster or resort complex environment.

Minimum 7 years of progressive sales leadership experience in luxury hospitality, with at least 3–5 years in a cluster or multi-asset environment. Previous GCC experience highly preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent qualification is a plus.

Deep understanding of hotel, leisure attraction, and lifestyle hospitality sales dynamics. Experience with waterparks or large-scale entertainment venues is a strong advantage.

Proven ability to build, inspire, and manage high-performing teams across multiple business units.

Strong commercial acumen with expertise in sales planning, account management, channel optimization, and B2B/B2C engagement.

Fluent in English and additional languages is a plus.

Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills are essential.
