Job Description


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cluster General Manager in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. As the Cluster General Manager of Novotel Makkah Thakher City hotel, this pivotal role requires a visionary leader who can drive operational excellence, financial performance, and guest satisfaction across multiple properties.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to maximise revenue, profitability, and market share for all properties within the cluster
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple hotels, ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional guest experiences
  • Lead and inspire a diverse team of hotel managers and staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures
  • Drive sales and marketing initiatives to increase occupancy rates and revenue per available room (RevPAR)
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, local regulations, and company policies across all properties
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including owners, corporate leadership, and local authorities
  • Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction
  • Oversee property maintenance, renovations, and capital improvement projects
  • Manage crisis situations and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in hospitality management, with a proven track record of success in cluster or multi-property management roles
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L responsibility
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
  • Excellent strategic planning and execution capabilities
  • Proven ability to drive operational excellence and consistently exceed guest expectations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • In-depth knowledge of the luxury hospitality market and current industry trends
  • Experience with revenue management and optimization strategies
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and systems
  • Familiarity with Middle Eastern culture and business practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Willingness to relocate to Makkah, Saudi Arabia
