Position Summary
Level: Consultant or equivalent
As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you’ll do:

Build, optimize, and maintain web apps using Next.js and React (routing, rendering strategies, data fetching, caching).

Collaborate with client/business stakeholders, product managers, and designers to clarity requirements, define and review acceptance criteria, and deliver incremental value.

Create accessible, responsive UIs aligned to design systems; contribute reusable components and patterns.

Implement and maintain testing (unit/integration) using Jest and Reat Testing Library;
- Collaborate in code review; enforce engineering standards (readability, maintainability, performance, security).

Integrate front ends with APIs (REST and/or GraphQL), authentication/authentication patterns, and content sources (as applicable).

Participate in Agile delivery (planning, standup, demos, retros) and provide estimates, delivery status, and risk/issue visibiilty.

Use GenAI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate delivery while applying human verification, secure coding, and IP/data-handling rules.

Our expertise spans the full digital lifecycle, including customer research, experience design, platform development, content production, and marketing automation. By bridging the gap between strategy and execution, we empower organizations to achieve measurable outcomes and deliver exceptional customer experiences in an ever-evolving digital landscape.
Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end patterns.

Proficiency with Git workflows and participating in CI/CD pipelines.

Solid automated testing experience with Jest and React Testing Library (writing and maintaining tests)

Working knowledge of web performance fundamentals (Core Web Vitals, bundle/runtime optimization).

Working knowledge of accessibility best practices (WCAG/ARIA).
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- Next.js App Router, Server Components, SSR/SSG/ISR optimization experience.

API/auth experience (OAuth/OIDC, JWT, session management) and secure front-end practices (OWSAP Basics)

Observability experience (error tracking, logging, performance monitoring).

Participation in AI-assisted development pilots/trainings.
