CMDE Diagnostician

Salary Range: $95,000 – $105,000

Availability: Full-time, Monday through Friday, some telehealth may be required

Behavior Frontiers specializes in providing ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) treatment to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in center and home settings. We are looking for an evaluator to join our team to conduct CMDE assessments for individuals who may have autism. The CMDE diagnostician will be responsible for independently providing diagnostic and developmental assessments for children and adolescents referred to our agency for developmental, behavioral, medical, and psychological challenges.

Professional Requirements (At least one of the following professional licenses):

  • Licensed Psychologist
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification
  • Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of MN
  • Familiarity with ABA principles
  • Experience with EIDBI and MN Medicaid
  • Familiarity with VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS assessments
Knowledge/Skills:
  • Proficiency in the following psychometric instruments:
    • ADOS-2
    • ADI-R
    • CARS
    • GARS-2
    • Vineland-3
    • SRS-2
    • ABAS-3
    • WISC-V
  • Extensive knowledge of DSM-5
  • Excellent report writing and editing skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with families, schools, and ASD service providers in child’s community
  • Effective organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
Experience Requirements:
  • At least 2,000 hours of clinical experience and/or training in the examination and/or treatment of people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or a related condition
  • Completed the equivalent in graduate-level coursework at an accredited university
    Note: Coursework must be documented in one or more of the following areas: ASD or a related condition diagnostic, ASD or a related condition treatment strategy, or child development
  • Be able to provide treatment within our scope of practice and license
  • Experience administering various standardized diagnostic measures, as well as psychological and autism spectrum assessment tools to diagnose and/or rule out autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disability
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct CMDE assessments, analyze and interpret data, and write evaluation reports
  • Provide feedback to clients after evaluations
  • Communicate with team members during the evaluation process as needed
  • Complete QSP supervision, as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
