CMS Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced CMS Web Developer proficient in WordPress, Shopify, and Wix. The ideal candidate should have strong technical command of these platforms, the ability to create custom layouts, and the skill to deliver polished, responsive, and high-performance websites. This position requires excellent front-end development capabilities, problem-solving skills, and the ability to convert design files into pixel-perfect digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain websites on WordPress, Shopify, and Wix.
• Convert Figma/Adobe XD designs into responsive, mobile-optimized layouts.
• Build custom themes, templates, sections, and reusable components.
• Configure and modify plugins/apps and integrate third-party APIs when needed.
• Implement performance enhancements, SEO best practices, and site optimization.
• Diagnose and resolve theme conflicts, layout issues, and plugin or cross-browser errors.
• Manage content structures such as posts, pages, menus, taxonomies, collections, and product catalogs.
• Collaborate closely with designers, content teams, and backend developers.
• Write clean, well-structured, and well-documented code aligned with industry standards.
• Handle deployments, updates, and staging environments safely and efficiently.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–4+ years of hands-on experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Wix).
• Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive UI development.
• Solid experience with WordPress theme development, custom post types, and page builders (Elementor or similar).
• Proficiency in Shopify theme customization (Liquid), metafields, and app integrations.
• Strong command of Wix Editor/X and Velo for custom logic and dynamic content.
• Understanding of SEO best practices, website performance, and site architecture.
• Experience with Git, version control, and staging workflows.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good understanding of UI/UX principles with strong attention to detail.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Working knowledge of PHP for advanced WordPress customizations.
• Advanced experience with Liquid for Shopify.
• Familiarity with React or Vue.
• Experience with payment gateways, booking tools, or custom API integrations.
• Understanding of headless CMS architectures.
