CMS Developer (WordPress & Shopify)

Media Quokka is looking for a talented CMS Developer with hands-on expertise in WordPress and Shopify. If you’re passionate about building modern, high-performing websites, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• WordPress development: Build and customize themes, plugins, hooks, and filters
• Shopify development: Develop Shopify stores with Liquid, AJAX, custom sections, and blocks
• Ensure site optimization and page speed performance (Core Web Vitals, caching, image optimization)
• Deliver fully responsive and cross-browser compatible websites
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure timely project delivery
• Stay updated with new trends in WordPress, Shopify, and CMS technologies

Requirements

• 4–5 years of proven experience in WordPress and Shopify development (themes, plugins, hooks, filters)
• Strong skills in Shopify (Liquid, AJAX, custom sections, blocks)
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery
• Hands-on experience with page speed optimization and performance improvements
• Good understanding of responsive design and modern UX principles
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• WooCommerce and API integration experience
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for CMS websites
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs120,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
