Shift: 8:00 pm to 5:00 am
Overview
The Editor plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and professionalism of all documents, patient information, and recorded data in the DME campaign. This position requires strong attention to detail, understanding of medical terminology, and the ability to maintain compliance with DME guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and edit patient recordings, patient data, and agent notes for accuracy and clarity.
- Verify patient details to ensure they meet DME compliance and campaign requirements.
- Correct grammatical errors, formatting issues, and inconsistencies in documentation.
- Coordinate with agents to clarify incomplete or unclear information.
- Ensure all edited files meet quality standards before submission.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with HIPAA/DME guidelines.
- Prepare daily reports on edited calls, errors identified, or files returned for correction.
- Assist the QA and compliance team in improving accuracy and documentation quality.
- Support agents with feedback to help them improve their note-taking and documentation style.
Requirements
- Strong English editing and proofreading skills.
- Prior experience working in a DME campaign is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of DME products, medical terminology, and insurance requirements.
- Attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies quickly.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CRM tools or call-handling systems.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance.
- Ability to multitask and maintain productivity.
