We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature, ensuring accurate medical documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Support medication administration under supervision, following strict aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or memory impairments in memory or behavioral health settings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in acute care environments such as ICU, emergency medicine, or Level I trauma centers to deliver timely patient service.
- Assist with procedures like catheter care, phlebotomy, and wound care while maintaining infection control protocols.
- Support patients in home & community care settings or outpatient clinics by delivering compassionate caregiving tailored to their unique needs.
Qualifications
- Valid CNA certification with current licensure in the applicable state.
- Experience working in diverse healthcare environments including hospitals (ICU, trauma centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS).
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation.
- Prior experience with specialized care areas such as hospice, pediatric care (PICU or working with children), behavioral health, or infectious disease management is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges.
