About the Role
High Point Residence Fox Valley is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our care team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality, person-centered care while supporting the dignity, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents. You will work collaboratively with our nursing and wellness teams to ensure each resident receives individualized care aligned with their care plan.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support residents during mealtimes and assist with feeding as needed
- Take and accurately record vital signs
- Safely transfer, reposition, and assist residents with mobility
- Observe and report any changes in resident condition or concerns to the nursing team
- Respond promptly and courteously to call lights and resident requests
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents
- Change bed linens, restock supplies, and assist with general housekeeping tasks
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Wellness Director or nursing supervisor
- Current CNA certification in the state of Illinois
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or memory care
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
