RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly clients by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, transferring and feeding

* Remind clients take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation

* Help with mobility and transportation (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)

* Plan and prepare meals and help with physical therapy exercises

* Accompany the clients on shopping and grocery trips

* Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents

* Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

CAREGIVER REQUIREMENTS:

* CNA license preferred but not required

* 7+ years of caregiving experience

* Ability to pass background check and drug screen

* Experience with transfers/gait belts

* Experience with bed-bound preferred

* Ability to lift 45+ pounds

* Because of the delicate nature of our clients we have a strict NO SMOKING policy

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Experience:

• Caregiving: 7 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License, Car Insurance and reliable vehicle (Preferred)
• CNA license in NC (Preferred)
