Established and well-respected organization is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) with a passion for caring for seniors. We currently service several counties in the metro-Atlanta area. We are currently searching for excellent CNAs in surrounding areas. Care Connect Home Care Services is committed to providing quality care to all of its home care clients and seek team members that share our desire to offer the highest quality of care possible.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provides personal care and/or homemaker services on an hourly basis to the patient and follows the plan of care as assigned by the supervising RN

Informs RN of any unexpected changes in the patient's condition

Proactive in updating necessary certifications and credentials

Responsible for following an agreed upon schedule and keeps supervisor informed of any changes in scheduling

Follows all appropriate policies and procedures of the organization providing services for its patients

Must conduct his or herself in a professional manner while providing care to the clients.

Listed active on the Nurse Aide Registry, certified by the State Department of Health with no findings against the aide relating to client abuse of misappropriation of client property (Candidates MUST have certification prior to being hired)

Pass the competency evaluation of skills performed under the supervision of a RN

Must have current CPR certification, First Aide Certification, and current negative TB skin test results or equivalent (i.e. chest x-ray)

Hospice and previous work experience with Alzheimer/dementia patients is a plus

Must have a dependable mode of transportation

Must possess a valid State driver's license and current auto liability insurance

Must be able to work independently, be flexible and reliable
