CNC Laser Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Laser Cut Operator to set up, operate, and maintain CNC laser cutting machines to produce high-quality metal components. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of blueprint reading and CNC programming basics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines to cut metal sheets and components according to specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine machine settings and requirements.
• Load and unload materials onto the machine bed and secure them properly.
• Monitor machine operation and cutting quality, making adjustments as necessary.
• Perform routine maintenance on laser cutting equipment and tools.
• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures) to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Identify and report any machine malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety protocols and company standards.
• Maintain accurate production records and logs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience operating CNC laser cutting machines (e.g., Sengfeng, Bodor, XT Laser).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Basic knowledge of CNC programming and G/M codes is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Experience with different materials: steel, aluminum, stainless steel, etc.
