Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain machinery used in the fabrication of steel and aluminium products.
• Set up machines according to specifications and ensure they are running efficiently.
• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and adjust as necessary.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents to ensure accurate production.
• Ensure quality control standards are met by inspecting finished products.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a machine operator in a steel or aluminium fabrication environment.
• Strong understanding of machine operation and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing setting.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in machine operation or a related field.
• Experience with CNC machines is a plus.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and machine operation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
