CNC Machinist

TMT is a precision manufacturing company based in Al Qalyubiya. We specialize in the design and production of high-quality molds, dies, and machine spare parts for various industries. We are seeking a dedicated CNC Machinist to join our on-site workshop team and contribute to our mission of excellence.

Responsibilities

• CNC Setup & Operation: Set up, program and operate CNC milling and turning machines to fabricate precision components according to engineering specifications.
• CAM Programming: Create, and optimize CNC programs using CAM software (e.g. Powermill , SolidCAM, NX-CAM) to generate efficient toolpaths.
• Quality Assurance: Read and interpret detailed CAD drawings and machining blueprints, and inspect finished parts to verify that dimensional and surface finish requirements are met.
• Machine Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine maintenance, calibrations and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure smooth production flow. Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment at all times.
• Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the team to solve machining challenges and support process improvements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience operating CNC mills and lathes in manufacturing of mold, die and precision components.
• CAM Software Proficiency: Proven ability to program and edit CNC toolpaths using CAD/CAM systems. Familiarity with Autodesk Powermill , SolidCAM, NX-CAM or equivalent is required.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, and materials.
• . Ability to read and apply technical drawings and blueprints.
• Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Good interpersonal and communication skills are needed for teamwork and reporting issues.
• Education/Training: Vocational or technical training in machining/manufacturing, or relevant on-the-job apprenticeship, is highly desirable.
