CNC Setter Operator

Havant

⏰ 37.5 hours per week | Monday–Friday

Early shift: 6am–2pm | Late shift: 2pm–10pm (alternating)

The Role

We are looking for a CNC Setter Operator to join a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machines while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC machines (milling and turning)
• Work from engineering drawings and instructions
• Use measuring equipment to ensure quality standards
• Record output and update production systems
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area
• Support continuous improvement and team activities
  
  

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience as a CNC Setter Operator
• Able to read engineering drawings
• Familiar with modern cutting tools and techniques
• Experience with CNC controls such as Siemens, Fanuc, Mazatrol
• Computer literate (basic Excel knowledge)
• Strong communication skills and a team‑focused mindset
