CNC Machinist

We are looking for a preferably Full Time CNC Machinist, though Part Time applications will be considered to work at our factory in Tiverton, Devon where we carry out the fabrication and manufacture of Baby Leaf Harvesters.

The successful applicant would be able to:-

· Program and operate XYZ CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling and turning

· Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading drawings

· Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines

· Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications

· Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result

· Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly

· Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality

Requirements

· Proven experience as CNC operator

· Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools

· Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings

· Mechanical aptitude and good mathematic skills

· A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach

· Good communication abilities

Full Time position – Monday to Friday - 42.5 hours per week with 2.5 hours paid at time plus 1/3

Annual Leave - 22 days

Salary - £15.20 to £17.00 per hour depending on experience

Overalls and PPE provided for your health and safety
