CNC Machinist

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-precision components. Duties

• Programming, Set up and operate CNC machines, including milling and turning equipment, ensuring accurate production according to specifications
• Interpret engineering drawings and CAD files using software to program machine operations
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of machinery to maintain optimal performance
• Use hand tools, power tools, and tooling to assist with machine adjustments, part assembly, and finishing processes
• Conduct quality checks on finished parts, ensuring adherence to tolerances and specifications
• Maintain detailed documentation of production, machine settings, and inspection results
• Follow safety protocols diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Skills

• Proficiency in CNC machining operations with experience in milling and turning techniques
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes
• Competence in reading technical drawings accurately
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and specialised tooling safely and effectively
• Basic mathematical skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during machining tasks
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and quality assurance standards
