About the Company

NES Ltd is an established supplier within the aerospace sector, specialising in high accuracy CNC milling and turning. We use modern machine tools from DMG Mori, Doosan, Haas and Star sliding head machines.

Operating from a modern facility just south of Stratford upon Avon, we have recently secured new contracts, allowing us to offer further permanent positions for experienced machinists to join our friendly team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced machinist to further develop their skills and become involved in exciting projects across civil, military and space programmes.

Job Role

Working within our AS9100 accredited quality system, the successful candidate will be involved in precision machining and inspection work.

Duties will include:

• Setting and operating CNC lathes, 5 axis milling machines and sliding head machines
• Using a range of measuring equipment
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Working to high accuracy and quality standards
• Supporting other team members where required
• Undertaking further training as needed
• Using CAD/CAM software

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience in CNC machining
• Be able to set and operate CNC machines
• Have experience with CNC lathes, 5 axis milling machines or sliding head machines
• Be able to read and understand engineering drawings
• Be confident using measuring equipment
• Be reliable, enthusiastic and able to work well as part of a team
• Have CAD/CAM experience
