CNC Machinist

Our team is looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to bolster our production capabilities through the operation of diverse manual and CNC turning and milling machinery.

We are searching for a professional who can handle tool changes and setups while utilizing inspection tools to verify quality throughout the manufacturing process. Your specific starting level will be assessed based on your demonstrated proficiency in setting up and operating CNC lathes, mills, and related shop equipment.

• Initiate and conclude daily machine operations following established protocols.
• Utilize precision measuring tools like tape measures and calipers to ensure part accuracy.
• Operate shop tools including mag drills, overhead cranes, grinders, sanders, and tap arms.
• Maintain high production standards to help eliminate scrap and waste.
• Maintain precise and current documentation logs.
• Manage electronic logging systems, job tags, and storage protocols effectively.
• Analyze and comprehend technical blueprints.
• Execute programmed tasks, perform initial part inspections, and complete machine setups.
• Gather necessary tooling for upcoming production runs at an entry level.
• Independently input programs and install tooling into production machinery.

• Proficiency in analyzing and understanding technical blueprints.
• Familiarity with various drills, tapes, and tooling.
• Capability to execute pre-programmed production tasks.
• Certification or experience in forklift operation.
• Competence in using tape measures, calipers, and related inspection devices.
• Understanding of the process for loading tooling and programs into equipment.
• Help maintain high quality standards to ensure zero-scrap production.
• Ability to safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other essential shop equipment.
• Advancing your expertise in all machining areas, including efficient CNC operation and the ability to complete manual tasks independently.
