CNC Machinist Programmer/Setup/Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating CNC machines to produce precision components. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Program, set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to fabricate parts according to specifications.
• Utilize calipers, and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy of machined components.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Conduct quality inspections throughout the machining process to maintain high standards of production.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team to improve machining processes
• Fabricate custom parts as needed, demonstrating versatility in machining techniques.
• Operate forklifts for material handling within the production area.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Manual machining is a plus.
• Proficiency in operating CNC lathes and milling machines.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Familiarity with CAD software for interpreting designs and specifications.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
