
Core Duties-
Prepare, run, and program CNC milling and turning centers.

Develop and modify CNC code using G & M language on Fanuc-based controllers.

Utilize CAM tools like Fusion 360 or Inventor CAM to generate programs.

Ensure equipment reliability by troubleshooting and operating various CNC platforms like Fadal, Haas, and Mori Seiki.

Produce components to precise tolerances, focusing on high-quality stainless steel fabrication.

Optimize machining cycles by calculating and refining feed and speed parameters.
-
Verify that all completed components align with strict quality benchmarks and design requirements.
-
Work alongside colleagues to enhance operational workflows and overall shop productivity.

Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail to ensure every part meets superior quality standards.

Implement industry-standard techniques to achieve high-precision machining results.
Required Qualifications-
Five to seven years of hands-on CNC experience within a professional job shop setting.

Advanced technical skill in the operation of CNC lathes and mills.

Comprehensive understanding of G & M code programming for Fanuc or comparable control systems.

Proficiency in CAM software, specifically Fusion 360 or Inventor CAM, is highly desirable.

Demonstrated history of working with a diverse range of CNC machinery.

Proven ability to handle stainless steel materials while determining appropriate machining variables.

Background in manual machining is considered an asset for this role.
Physical Demands and Safety Standards-
Capacity to handle and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Mandatory compliance with safety protocols, including the use of steel-toed boots and protective eyewear while on the floor.

Capability to remain standing for the majority of the workday, covering 60 to 75 percent of the shift.
