CNC Miller Setter/Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC setter/operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC Milling machines to produce high-precision components.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines, including selecting and installing appropriate tooling and fixtures
• Operate CNC machinery for milling and other machining processes to produce components according to specifications
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to minimise downtime
• Use hand tools and power tools for auxiliary tasks such as part inspection, assembly, or minor adjustments
• Conduct quality checks on finished parts, ensuring adherence to tolerances and standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CNC programming with milling operations
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and tooling setup for manufacturing tasks
• Basic mathematical skills for calculations related to measurements and tolerances
• Experience with CAD/CAM software is desirable but not essential
