CNC Operator

Overview

We are looking for an experience CNC Machinist/ Programmer. We currently have Hardinge, Nomura, QuickTech CNC lathes with 12-ft. bar feeders. We run all Fanuc controllers and have Autodesk Fusion. Applicant must be capable of defining processes, programming, setup, tool selection etc. Must be a hard worker and have good attendance. Must be able to program. Pay is based on experience.

Hours: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The CNC Operator will be responsible for:

• The setup and operation of designated machine including programming
• Produce minimum daily production quantities
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Inspect own work during the production process and make proper adjustments as needed

Minimum qualifications and experience requirements

• Prior experience in programming CNC machines
• The ability to lift 50 lbs. and be able to stand for whole shift
• The ability to read order forms, measuring instruments, calipers and micrometers
• Good understanding of math including decimals and fractions
• Ability to learn and follow instructions
• Must have prior experience in machining steel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
