CNC Router Operator

Sign fabrication shop in Fresno looking for an experienced CNC router operator. Day-to-day work is production-focused — cutting sign substrates to spec and keeping the machine running efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a large-format CNC router for sign production
• Create and run toolpaths from design files (AI, DXF, PDF)
• Cut HDU, PVC, acrylic, aluminum, ACM, and wood substrates
• Perform bit changes, spoilboard maintenance, and routine upkeep
• Coordinate with the design team on file prep and job sequencing

Requirements

• 2+ years of CNC router operation experience
• Proficient with toolpath software — MultiCam Coreo or equivalent (EnRoute, Aspire, VCarve)
• Able to read vector files and work independently from a production schedule
• Comfortable troubleshooting basic mechanical and software issues

Preferred

• Sign shop background — channel letters, dimensional signage, routed faces
• Experience on MultiCam equipment
• Basic Adobe Illustrator or Flexi for file prep
