CNC Operator (Interview on 18 September)

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and manage CNC machines for various operations including drilling, milling, grinding, and turning.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to define machining dimensions.
• Monitor and adjust machines during operations to improve performance and maintain accuracy.
• Load/unload raw materials and tools; ensure proper cutting tool setup using heat shrink fit, tool balancer, and Zoller measuring machine.
• Conduct regular in-process measurements and visual inspections.
• Record all actions, complete production logs, and perform SFC data entry.
• Perform daily maintenance, coolant monitoring, cleaning, and machine troubleshooting.
• Follow safety guidelines, NC management procedures, and support non-conformance investigations.
• Perform deburring, engraving, and tab removal per work instructions
• Ensure 5S and housekeeping standards are upheld.
• Monitor and report scrap levels against production output.
• Handle job changeovers and verify process sequences by stamping relevant shop travelers.

Education and Qualifications:

• Trade School Accreditation or High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Certificate or Diploma in Engineering is an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC Machine Operator.
• Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and engineering drawings.
