CNC Operator Laser Machine

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled CNC Laser Machine Operator with experience in steel fabrication and sheet metal processing. The candidate will be responsible for operating CNC laser cutting machines, reading technical drawings, maintaining production quality, and ensuring materials are processed accurately as per project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC laser cutting machines for steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and metal sheet fabrication works
• Read and understand engineering drawings, cutting layouts, and fabrication details
• Set up machine parameters, material positioning, and cutting programs according to production requirements
• Load and unload raw materials safely and efficiently
• Monitor machine operations and ensure accurate cutting quality and dimensions
• Perform machine calibration, nozzle cleaning, lens checking, and routine maintenance
• Inspect finished materials and ensure quality standards are maintained
• Coordinate with production, fabrication, and quality departments for smooth workflow
• Minimize material wastage and optimize machine productivity
• Maintain daily production records and machine operation logs
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies during machine operation
• Identify machine issues and report breakdowns or maintenance requirements immediately
• Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness around the machine area

Requirements

• Diploma / ITI / Technical Certification in Mechanical, Production, or relevant field
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience operating CNC laser cutting machines
• Experience in steel fabrication or metal manufacturing industry preferred
• Knowledge of laser cutting software and CNC machine programming
• Ability to read fabrication and engineering drawings
• Understanding of different metal materials and thickness handling
• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines

Preferred Experience

• Experience in steel structure, PEB, sheet metal, or heavy fabrication industry
• Experience operating Fiber Laser / CNC Plasma / Laser Cutting Machines
• UAE or GCC experience will be an added advantage
