CNC Press Brake Operator – High Level

Regal Research & Mfg. Co. is a precision sheet metal fabrication company committed to high standards of accuracy, repeatability, and accountability. We are seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator who takes ownership of quality, setups, and equipment performance.

This role requires strong technical ability, disciplined work habits, and a deep understanding of forming sheet metal accurately and consistently.

What You’ll Do

Set up and operate CNC press brakes to form sheet metal parts accurately and efficiently
Perform complex setups including multi-stage bends
Interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and bend requirements
Manage material behavior including bend allowances, spring-back, and distortion
Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks
Identify and correct forming issues before they impact quality
Maintain tooling, machines, and a clean work area
Communicate issues proactively with engineering, programming, quality, and leadership

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of experience operating CNC press brakes in a sheet metal environment
Experience with modern controls such as Amada, Trumpf, or similar
Strong understanding of material properties and forming principles
High attention to detail and consistency
Ownership mindset around quality and output

Leadership Expectations

Serve as a technical resource for press brake operations
Assist with training and mentoring other operators
Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives
