Overview
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Programmer/Operator and become a vital contributor to precision machining excellence! In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components. Your expertise in CNC programming, tooling, and measurement will drive efficiency and accuracy in our manufacturing processes. Duties
- Develop and modify CNC programs using Blueprints and/or part samples to ensure optimal machining processes.
- Set up CNC lathes, including installing tooling, fixtures, and workpieces according to blueprints and schematics.
- Operate CNC equipment with precision, adhering to safety standards and quality specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), schematics, and blueprints to accurately produce parts.
- Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, micrometers, calipers and go/no go gauges to verify dimensions.
- Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, geometry, or machine performance, making adjustments as needed for continuous improvement.
- Maintain detailed documentation of machine setups, production logs, and quality reports in compliance with lean manufacturing principles.
- Operate manual mills and lathes as needed.
- Assist in other areas of production and assembly as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience programming and operating CNC machines such as mills and lathes using Fanuc controls or similar systems.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes like machining tolerances, and tooling selection.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and schematics accurately while applying GD&T standards.
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of geometry, math fundamentals, and the use of precision measuring instruments like bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other measuring equipment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
