CNC Router Operator (AXYZ – Dual Machine Operation)

Position Summary

The CNC Router Operator operates two (2) AXYZ CNC routers to produce precision plastic components used in the assembly of custom stainless steel OEM conveyor systems. This role works from engineering drawings and work orders to produce accurate, repeatable parts that support production flow in a high-mix, precision manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor two AXYZ CNC routers
• Set up tooling, materials, and programs for production runs
• Interpret drawings, work orders, and specifications
• Produce plastic components to required dimensions and quality standards
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and compliance
• Manage workflow between both machines to maintain uptime and efficiency
• Identify and report defects, machine issues, or non-conforming parts
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area (OSHA compliant)
• Complete production records and part documentation

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• CNC/router operation experience preferred
• Experience with plastics or sheet materials strongly preferred
• AXYZ or large-format CNC router experience a plus

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to operate multiple CNC machines simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and dimensional accuracy
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and work instructions
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work in a precision high value production environment
• Reliable, safety-focused, and self-directed

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
