Partner with Engineering to design, alter, and repair tooling, fixtures, inspection equipment, master dies, molds, jigs, and gauges using drawings, specs, routings, sketches, and verbal input.

Set up and operate CNC and manual equipment to mill, drill, turn, grind, and polish parts; perform layout, fitting, and assembly.

Develop new or refine existing processes, methods, and holding devices; execute repair and manufacturing work efficiently.

Run prototype/sample or experimental builds to prove out production tooling and new methods when needed.

Apply a full suite of hand/power tools and metrology, including black light checks; ensure documentation meets the certified operator program and ANSI Y14-5.

Dress and select abrasive wheels to match contours/radii/angles; use angular table settings for manual forming of compound features; read and plan from complex prints.

Maintain QCP 6.0 traceability, logbooks, NCRs (QCP 11.0), and related records; manage basic toolroom supply reviews.

Perform minor maintenance, complete required part marking, move materials in the cell, and sustain 5S and safety standards; occasionally braze inserts to tool shanks.

Assist and mentor other operators on proper procedures when appropriate.

Skilled Machinist Certification (Tool & Die/ Journeyman/ UAW Apprentice or similar) plus 4 years’ setup/operation on machine tools (mills, lathes, drills, grinders) with at least 2 years full-time CNC machining. Be sure your resume/application outlines this experience.

Ability to pass an Eaton vision test; willingness to become a Certified Operator; commitment to 5S.

Based within 50 miles of Euclid, OH; no relocation assistance is available.
