Position Overview:


We are looking for a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Co-op Business Development Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn about the insurance industry, develop strong business development skills, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced brokerage environment. The successful candidate will work closely with our business development and brokerage teams to identify and secure new business opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:


- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and new business opportunities.

- Assist in prospecting and outreach efforts to generate leads and build a pipeline of new clients.

- Support the preparation and delivery of compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.

- Learn about insurance products, policies, and industry regulations to effectively communicate value propositions.

- Maintain accurate records of lead generation activities and client interactions in the CRM system.

- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and customer visit to enhance knowledge and skills.

- Provide support in preparing reports and analyzing data to track business development progress.


Requirements :


- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program (Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field preferred).

- Language Skills: Fluent in English (written and verbal).

- Presentation Skills: Strong ability to create and deliver engaging presentations.

- Willingness to Learn: Demonstrated interest in the insurance industry and a proactive attitude toward learning.

- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with potential clients.

- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
