Co-op, Sustainability Analytics (Summer 2026)

HOW YOU'LL HELP US KEEP CLIMBING (OVERVIEW & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)

• Data Analysis & Strategy Support: Dive into sustainability-related operational data to uncover insights, supporting our data strategy and contributing to the Carbon Council and broader Global Sustainability initiatives.
• Data Discovery & Pipeline Assistance: Assist in the development of data pipelines to streamline our analytics processes.
• Reporting & Dashboard Development: Create, automate, and maintain various reports and dashboards, having ownership of both front-end and back-end responsibilities.
• Script Evaluation & Improvement: Assess current scripts for efficiency and accuracy, offering recommendations for enhancements to optimize performance.
• Documentation: Thoroughly document all existing scripts, workflows, and data structures, ensuring clarity and accessibility for both technical and non-technical team members.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing an undergraduate degree in a 4-year academic institution
• At least a 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale
• Must be able to work on a full-time basis for 3 alternating semesters: Summer 2026, Spring 2027, Fall 2027
• This position requires student to work for 3 alternating semesters. Student cannot actively take any courses (inclusive of online or in-person) and work as a Co-op/Intern at the same time, which may delay graduation by 1-2 semesters
• Must be able to work onsite in our Atlanta, GA office for the duration of the Co-op
• Working as a Co-op/Intern does not guarantee a full-time opportunity at Delta Air Lines upon graduation. This position is intended to provide educational and professional work experience to prepare the student for the workforce
• Proficiency in any scripting programming language (Python, Bash, PowerShell) is required
• Experience with SQL or Database querying tools to include ETL and functional knowledge of data modeling is required
• Experience with Tableau/Power BI is required
• Experience with common python data libraries
• Experience with Alteryx
• Proficiency in basic data analytics
• Strong computer skills with extensive knowledge of Microsoft office suite
• Strong organizational, project management, and personal management skills
• Robust verbal and written communication skills at all levels
• Ability to work well in teams
• Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and data

• Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
• Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States
