CO-Teacher AY2026-2027

Egypt Education Platform is seeking a dedicated and professional Co-Teacher to work collaboratively in our dynamic teaching environment for the Academic Year 2026-2027 at GEMS British International School of Madinaty . This role is integral to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere where all students can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher in planning, implementing, and assessing instructional strategies and classroom activities
• Provide support to students in both independent and group work, facilitating a positive learning environment
• Help manage classroom behaviors and promote a culture of respect and cooperation among students
• Communicate effectively with the lead teacher to discuss student progress, challenges, and strategies for improvement
• Contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with specific learning needs
• Participate in professional development sessions and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices
• Support classroom organization, including maintaining materials and resources, ensuring a safe learning environment
  
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
• A valid teaching certification or qualification is preferred
• Experience in a classroom setting, particularly in a co-teaching or assistant role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that caters to diverse learner needs
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
