Job Description
DWM Holdings is looking to fill a Coater position for the Green Zone production. This position is responsible for coating, picking, packing, shipping, material handling, and performs and documents coating equipment procedures in accordance with company standards for all product types within the production department. This person reports directly to the Logistics Manager and works closely with the Production Team Members and is a member of the company’s Green Zone Production team.
Responsibilities:
Picking and Packaging
- Review PLEX for orders that need processing by shipment type, UPS, FEDED, Flatbed, etc. for the current period.
- Gather parts and hardware for shipments.
- Some parts will need to be painted individually by customer specs; hardware will be packaged according to Kit instructions.
- Pull the appropriate boxes for packing.
- For FEDEX and UPS, record dimensions for shipping and print out shipping labels.
- Prepare pallets, including shrink wrapping and banding.
- Staging conveyances in appropriate area
- Process shippers in PLEX
- Maintain workstation cleanliness.
Coating/Painting:
- Receive parts in from green zone for coating.
- Prepare and clean surfaces of painted items.
- Hang parts to be painted and verify paint colors.
- Move painted parts into oven and cure paint.
- Package up completed painted parts for shipping.
- Process shipper in PLEX system
- Maintain workstation cleanliness.
Material Handling:
- Move inventory from storage areas to production areas.
- Replenish low inventory parts from storage.
- Cycle count inventory
- Maintain workstation cleanliness.
