Overview
Responsible for technical/production support, process development, and optimization of aerospace and aero-derivative gas turbine systems for assigned areas and its applicability to OEM businesses. Leading highly complex projects producing new designs and processes; utilizing lean tools and methodologies to positively impact the business metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own high-temperature coating processes and perform system accuracy tests.
• Lead projects using strong project management skills.
• Develop robust manufacturing processes meeting cost, schedule, and performance goals.
• Publish technical documentation and establish KPIs.
• Identify and implement process improvements using lean principles.
• Coordinate prototypes and design engineering experiments.
• Mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Materials, or Chemical Engineering.
• 2+ years in manufacturing; aviation/aerospace experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Six Sigma and lean manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in Minitab or similar statistical tools.
• Project management skills.
• Familiarity with superalloys and high-temperature coatings a plus.
• FAA PMA compliance knowledge is preferred.
