Cocktail Server - Overnight

Job Title: Cocktail Server at Rivers Casino

Position Summary: As an Cocktail Server at Rivers Casino, you will be providing top-notch beverage service to our casino guests. Your role entails delivering service with efficiency, courtesy, and professionalism, while upholding the highest standard of customer care. This position would have an overnight schedule from 12am to 8am.

Responsibilities:

• Provide efficient, courteous, and professional beverage service to all casino customers.
• Retrieve empty glasses and ensure their proper placement.
• Assist in the preparation of drink orders, including icing glasses and garnishing drinks.
• Manage assigned area by taking drink orders, presenting drinks to customers, and handling payments.
• Maintain a clean station consistently, and perform designated side work duties.
• Uphold standards by setting examples with your appearance and work ethic.
• Address any guest complaints or issues promptly and courteously.
• Facilitate clear communication between shifts.
• Maintain a thorough awareness of safety protocols and prevent accidents, reporting any incidents immediately to the supervisor.
• Flexibility to work across all shifts

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a keen ability to respond to visual and aural cues.
• Must be able to communicate with guests verbally in English.
• Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
• Proficiency in money handling and basic math skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills to engage effectively with guests and team members.
• Capacity to perform under pressure.
• Prior experience and a demonstrated track record of sound judgment preferred.
• Cooperative, helpful, and friendly nature with a well-groomed appearance.
• Punctuality and adherence to procedures are essential.
• Ability to successfully complete RAMP (Responsible Alcohol Management Program) course.
• Adhere to Cut Off Procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.

Certifications:

• Must be able to obtain a Pennsylvania Non-Gaming License. Rivers Casino will assist in the application process and pays the fee associated with this license.

Physical Requirements:

• Extended periods of standing and walking, with flexibility for bending, stooping, and twisting during service.

• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds frequently.
