Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly, professional attitude
• Take accurate drink and food orders using POS systems such as Square, ensuring timely delivery
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beverages, and food items with precision, adhering to safety and sanitation standards
• Upsell menu items and drink specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and service stations, including bussing and resetting tables efficiently
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately through POS systems like OpenTable or other restaurant software
• Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing inquiries promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife venues such as nightclubs or upscale bars
• Familiarity with POS systems including Square for order processing and cashiering
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly rapport with guests
• Previous experience in serving, bartending, or host/hostess required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
• Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy; culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence

Pay includes hourly plus tips.

Wednesday - Saturday evening availability required.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
