REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Must have a valid Texas Drivers' License
• Must have a High School education or GED
• Obtain Officer in Training certificate within 6 months from date of hire
• Must have the ability to pass the state Code Enforcement Officer test within 1 year from the date of hire and obtain license

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum two years of experience in code enforcement
• Certified Code Enforcement Officer
• Experience bidding service contracts to tow junk vehicles, mow grass, and remove trash/debris
• Experience invoicing property owners and executing liens on properties due to nonpayment
• Experience presenting code cases to Building and Standards Commission, prosecuting attorney, and Municipal Court

SALARY IS DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS.

Pay: From $44,866.00 per year
