Coded Welder – (Oil & Gas)
The Coded Welder is responsible for performing high-quality welding activities in accordance with approved welding procedures and international standards for oil and gas projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding as per approved WPS (Welding Procedure Specification)
- Read and interpret isometric drawings and welding symbols
- Carry out SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, or other required welding processes
- Ensure weld quality meets project and inspection standards
- Prepare joints, fit-up, and clean weld areas
- Follow safety procedures and use proper PPE at all times
Requirements:
- Valid welding certification (6G / ASME / AWS or equivalent)
- 3–5 years of experience in oil & gas or pipeline projects
- Ability to pass welding qualification tests
- Good knowledge of welding materials and techniques
