CODED WELDER

Coded Welder – (Oil & Gas)

The Coded Welder is responsible for performing high-quality welding activities in accordance with approved welding procedures and international standards for oil and gas projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding as per approved WPS (Welding Procedure Specification)
• Read and interpret isometric drawings and welding symbols
• Carry out SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, or other required welding processes
• Ensure weld quality meets project and inspection standards
• Prepare joints, fit-up, and clean weld areas
• Follow safety procedures and use proper PPE at all times

Requirements:

• Valid welding certification (6G / ASME / AWS or equivalent)
• 3–5 years of experience in oil & gas or pipeline projects
• Ability to pass welding qualification tests
• Good knowledge of welding materials and techniques
