Coffee Barista/Cashier

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that each drink is made to perfection.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and serving areas.
• Assist with food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Handle food items safely while adhering to all health regulations.
• Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Answer any questions of a customer and have knowledge about the food being served.
• Able to accept and hand orders to food delivery drivers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and cash register operation.
• Basic math skills to assist with transactions and inventory management.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices is a plus.
• Food Protection Certificate HIGHLY recommended
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to help customers and colleagues alike.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must speak Portuguese & English

Wages: Starting at 12/Hr + TIPS

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
