Coffee Manager:

A Typical Day:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for the coffee unit. Identify market trends, competitive threats, and new opportunities to ensure our coffee program remains innovative and profitable.
- P&L Management: Own the Profit and Loss (P&L) for the coffee business unit. This includes managing budgets, controlling costs, and analyzing financial performance to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Product Development & Innovation: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch. Work with R&D and supply chain teams to source high-quality beans, develop new coffee beverages, and enhance the existing menu.
- Marketing & Branding: Collaborate with the marketing department to create effective campaigns that promote the coffee brand. This includes managing promotions, advertising, and in-store merchandising to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure seamless operations across all QSR locations. This involves working closely with operations teams to optimize preparation processes, maintain quality standards, and train staff on coffee-making techniques.
- Supply Chain Management: Manage relationships with key suppliers and distributors. Negotiate contracts, monitor inventory levels, and ensure a stable and cost-effective supply of coffee and related products.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of coffee professionals. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance within the business unit.
Your Expertise:
- 3-5 years of experience in a management role within the food and beverage industry, with at least 3 years of experience in the coffee sector.
- Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team, with a focus on team-building and fostering a positive work culture.
- Experience in a senior leadership role, with a strong understanding of business strategy, P&L management, and operational oversight for a multi-unit or divisional setting.
- Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of financial reporting, inventory management, and administrative duties.
- Expert knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and a passion for the coffee industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and experience with administrative platforms like HRIS or ERP systems is a plus.
- Proven ability to develop and execute business strategies, identify market trends, and drive profitability.
- Experience in product development, marketing, and branding to enhance the company's coffee offerings.
- A solid understanding of the QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) industry and its operational demands.
