The Food & Beverage Supervisor with high-end healthy coffee shop experience is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a premium, health-focused coffee shop. This role ensures that all staff deliver exceptional service, quality beverages, and food products that align with the establishment's wellness-oriented ethos. The Supervisor will provide leadership, maintain a strong focus on customer service, manage operational efficiency, and foster a culture of health-conscious offerings within the coffee shop.

  • Supervision and Staff Management:
  • Lead and manage a team of baristas, servers, and kitchen staff with a focus on health-conscious coffee and food offerings.
  • Train and coach staff on healthy food preparation, the art of brewing high-quality coffee, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Manage the scheduling of staff to ensure proper coverage during peak hours, ensuring the team is efficient and motivated.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and offer ongoing training to ensure high standards.
  • Quality Control and Menu Oversight:
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of beverages, including coffee, matcha lattes, and specialty drinks, as well as the food offerings like bowls, salads, and wraps.
  • Maintain standards for organic and locally-sourced ingredients, ensuring freshness and sustainability in every product served.
  • Regularly taste and assess offerings to guarantee they meet established quality standards.
  • Financial and Inventory Management:
  • Assist with inventory management, including stock ordering, receiving, and rotation, to ensure the smooth supply of ingredients and products.
  • Track daily sales and manage the coffee shop’s financial performance to meet cost control targets, such as minimizing food waste and optimizing labor costs.
  • Participate in setting up budget forecasts and sales targets, assisting in strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Health and Safety Compliance:
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and hygiene practices in line with healthy and clean eating standards.
  • Maintain proper food handling procedures, including allergen management, to ensure customer safety and satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular health and safety audits and ensure all staff are trained in food safety best practices.
