Collections Manager

Collections Manager – Brookfield, WI
DLF Law Group, LLC, an established mid-sized collections law firm in Brookfield, Wisconsin, is seeking an experienced Collections Manager to lead and elevate our collections department. We are looking for a strategic leader to take full ownership of our collections department—driving accountability and maximizing recovery performance.This is a true management opportunity for someone who can lead an established team and help take it to the next level. You will oversee approximately 10 collections staff and 2 team leads while helping drive recovery performance, improve workflows, develop staff, and partner with firm leadership on departmental goals and results.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading day-to-day collections operations
• Developing and improving collection strategies and campaigns
• Monitoring KPIs, productivity, and recovery trends
• Coaching staff and team leads
• Improving accountability, reporting, and overall department performance
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and firm policies

Qualifications include:

• Prior collections management or similar operational leadership experience
• Strong leadership and analytical skills
• Experience improving performance in a collections or receivables environment
• Knowledge of collections compliance and regulatory expectations
• Strong financial and operational acumen, including the ability to analyze KPIs, trends, and department performance
• Ability to work effectively with internal IT and operations teams to develop, refine, and interpret reports and data
• Strong technical aptitude; experience with reporting tools, data analysis, SQL, Excel, Power BI, or similar systems is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field preferred
• Law firm or agency collections experience preferred
