Job Purpose
At ING Turkey, we have an opportunity for a
Manager – Collections
to lead the digital transformation of customer interactions, operational systems and collections journeys. This role will be accountable for the full product lifecycle, operation, vision and strategy for Collections, covering data, processes, platforms and digital customer experiences.
How will you make an impact in this role?

Act within a
Product Mindset
: ideate, define, experiment and deliver product features together with engineering within the squad.
-
Own the
end‑to‑end product vision
for collections, customer interaction tools and operational technologies; define and prioritize the roadmap to maximize business value.
-
Manage the product backlog by gathering requirements from relevant stakeholders and aligning with ING’s strategy and regulatory needs.
-
Be responsible for the
WHAT
of the product team; represent the business needs across Collections, Operations, Risk, Legal and Compliance.
-
Lead digital transformation of collection journeys across retail loans, KMH/overdraft, credit cards and SME portfolios by introducing automation, segmentation and data‑driven decision models.
-
Drive improvements in administrative, pre‑legal and legal collections processes, including workflows with external law firms and agencies.
-
Analyze operational and customer data to produce actionable insights; prepare performance reports and present outputs to senior management.
-
Lead or contribute to
global product initiatives
, ensuring local alignment with global standards and leveraging international best practices.

Perform end‑to‑end UAT activities, approve IT changes, take solutions live, measure impact and iterate.
-
Ensure product quality, documentation accuracy and adherence to internal risk, compliance and security standards.
-
Act as mandated
IT asset owner, risk owner and data owner
for your product domain.
-
Collaborate with engineering, design, operations, data and CX teams to deliver solutions that are stable, scalable and customer‑centric.

Support the development, coaching and capability growth of team members within the squad.
Qualifications
-
Minimum
5 years of experience
in pre‑legal and legal collections processes, collection models, risk management, product management, digital transformation and collections systems,
-
Strong analytical, strategic and decision‑making skills with the ability to operate in a fast‑paced, agile environment.
-
Solid understanding of collections processes, operations and digital customer journeys.
-
Experience in Agile methodologies and software delivery lifecycle; ability to collaborate with engineering teams.
-
Strong stakeholder management, communication and conflict resolution skills; proven ability to gain alignment for product strategies.
-
Ability to view issues from a customer and operational lens, ensuring seamless and compliant end‑to‑end journeys.
-
Experience with risk management, operational governance, data ownership and audit requirements.
-
Understanding of product architecture, system integrations, incident & change management processes is an advantage.
-
Excellent command of written and verbal English.
