The Moore Law Group is a multi-state creditor rights law firm. We are seeking a trainer with an exceptional drive and desire to see training endeavors make a change and a difference in the course of training and motivating our staff in a growing multi-state law firm. The trainer is not only responsible for training our team of Non-Attorney Negotiators but also for internal training and client driven training for the firm.
The Trainer is responsible for creating and implementing training initiatives, as well as assisting our management team in pushing out client required training.
This role supervises new hires during multi-week training events and is responsible for the continued coaching of new and existing talent within the collections department and the firm as a whole. The end goal is trained talent that embodies the firm’s core values and achieves consumer experience targets, while delivering on compliance and client goals.

Responsibilities:
- Facilitate engaging training initiatives to ensure talent exceeds customer experience targets, including but not limited to delivering a successful on boarding experience, continuing education training, soft skill training, virtual classroom training, and using alternative training technologies
- New Hire associates in the training class will report directly to the trainer during the new hire class.
- The trainer will supervise, coach and provide performance and behavioral feedback to new associates during multi-week training events, up to and including recommending the termination of new hire employment.
- Ensure Collector training requirements are achieved.
- Roll out and train on new policies and procedures
- Attend and participate in Managers meetings and collections floor meetings to gain perspective and knowledge.
- Participate in motivational activities and in mentoring all staff firm wide
- Conduct post-training focus groups with leads and new hires and to implement feedback to improve the training experience.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) an asset
- Collections experience a requirement
- Proven training and talent development experience
1-2 years of the following:
- Legal experience
- Customer care center experience
- Sales/closing experience
- Communication and motivation skills
- Classroom training and facilitation
- Application of adult learning theory
- Assessing and developing training programs
