College Assistant

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Behavioral Health Career Pathways Program at Stella and Charles Guttman Community College seeks a tech savvy College Assistant to support the development of an integrated internal data system that strengthens recruitment, employer engagement, and workforce alignment across the behavioral health sector.

This part-time position will assist in building a coordinated infrastructure that connects student recruitment pipelines, outreach and partnership engagement, employer relationships, and student outcomes data. The goal of this work is to help the program better understand recruitment patterns, strengthen employer partnerships, and support clearer pathways for entry- and mid-level behavioral health professionals.

The College Assistant will work closely with program leadership to organize and structure existing program data, explore system integration options, and support the early development of a centralized behavioral health partnership and workforce database.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Assist in organizing and integrating program data currently stored across spreadsheets, trackers, and internal documents into a more coordinated system.

· Contribute to the development of basic dashboards, reports, or visualizations that help program leadership understand trends in recruitment, partnerships, and program impact.

· Help design and maintain a centralized database of behavioral health organizations, including employers, nonprofits, and community-based organizations across New York City.

· Conduct light research on data tools or platforms that could support integrated tracking systems for workforce development programs

· Support responsible and ethical data practices, including attention to privacy, transparency, and equity when organizing program data.

PREFERRED SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience working with spreadsheets, databases, or data organization tools.

· Basic familiarity with data visualization tools.

· Interest in exploring how AI and data systems can support workforce development.

· Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Pay: $24.33 - $29.30 per hour
