College Students and teachers - work Chick-Fil-A events this summer

Overview: When we take Chick-fil-A out into the community we bring terrific people to the event to serve the guests with the same style of hospitality that we do at our restaurant. We go strong from Spring to fall. Some are indoors and some are outdoors. Our indoor event venues are year-round Fri / Sat, so if you want to keep doing it beyond summer there's opportunity to do that.

We take our food trailer on-site to events like soccer tournaments, swim meets, outdoor concerts, etc. All cooking is done back at the restaurant (this is not a "cooking" food truck) so it is much like working a concession stand at a county fair or inside at an athletic tournament.

Who? Ideal for a college student on Summer Break or adults who wish to make extra money during the Spring & Summer.

Hours: Most events are in the evenings, Mon-Sat (we are closed on Sundays) and a typical schedule is 4pm to 9/10pm for the evening events. There are also some events during the day during June and July. We have events every night Wed, Thu, Fri and Sat throughout June and July. A "double shift" is even available on Fridays and Saturdays if you're looking for lots of hours!

Experience Required:

• Customer service experience - you've got experience serving the public.
• You're friendly, fast and can-do.
• You are physically active. This is an active job involving carrying, setting up and breaking down.

Skills Required:

• Must be at least 18 years old - no exceptions
• Licensed driver
• higher pay rate available for people who have skills driving a pickup pulling a trailer and who can also back a trailer into a designated parking space
• trustworthy
• excellent guest interaction and service skills including diplomatic problem resolution
• professionalism in demeanor, presentation, actions and words
• good interpersonal skills with guests and Chick-fil-A team members
• strong verbal communication skills and style
• ability to stay organized
• initiative

Pay: $16.00 - $17.25 per hour
