Colour Matching Technician(NC Color matcher)

I am hiring on the behalf of my new Company.

Job Role: NC Color Matcher (Paint Industry)

About:

We are looking for someone who understands colours well and has hands-on experience matching shades in nitrocellulose (NC) paints. The main job is to make sure the paint colour matches the sample perfectly and stays consistent during production.

Responsibilities:

Match paint colours by eye and with machines (like spectrophotometers)

Develop new shades based on customer samples or shade cards

Make small trial batches and fine-tune colours until they are correct

Ensure the same colour is produced again and again without variation

Correct shade issues during production if the colour goes off

Work closely with production, quality, and sales teams

Maintain shade samples, records, and formulations

Help resolve customer complaints related to colour differences

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong hands-on experience in NC paint colour matching

Excellent colour perception and shade differentiation

Knowledge of pigments, dyes, binders, and solvents used in NC systems

Familiarity with spectrophotometers and colour measurement tools

Ability to work under time-sensitive production requirements

Good documentation and communication skills

Qualifications:

Diploma / B.Sc. / B.Tech in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Paint Technolog

2–6 years of experience in paint or coating colour matching

Timing:8am- 6pm
