Job Profile: Commission-Based Tender Hunter (Public Sector Projects)

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Tender Hunter to help identify and track public sector tenders and project opportunities. The role focuses on researching government and institutional procurement platforms to find projects that match our company’s services.

This is a commission-based position, ideal for students who want to gain experience in business development, consulting, and public procurement.

The work is fully remote and flexible.

Main Responsibilities

• Search for public tenders and project opportunities on procurement platforms such as:

• EU TED (Tenders Electronic Daily)

• German procurement portals

• Government and institutional tender platforms

• Identify projects relevant to our services (IT consulting, DevOps, cloud engineering, digital transformation)

• Create short summaries of relevant tenders, including:

• Project description

• Budget or contract value (if available)

• Key requirements

• Submission deadline

• Track and organize opportunities in a shared list or database

• Flag high-value or strategic tenders for further review by the team

• Support basic preparation by collecting documents or links when needed

Requirements

• Student enrolled at a German university (business, economics, IT, public administration, or similar fields preferred)

• Good English skills

• Basic German reading skills (many tenders are in German)

• Ability to research and evaluate information online

• Organized and detail-oriented

• Interest in consulting, IT projects, or public sector procurement
